Healing Naturally

Healing Naturally through Alternative Medicine

Several members of my family suffer from high blood pressure. I am always on the lookout for natural remedies to help them lower their blood pressure. Some natural and food remedies I've read include-

Beans are particularly helpful in lowering cholesterol, a government research showed that a half a cup of pinto beans a day can lower blood pressure by 8 -- 10 percent.

Eating Salmon. Salmon is loaded with omega-3s, which help reduce LDL cholesterol levels -- the "bad" kind of cholesterol.

What are some other natural remedies?

I've heard that garlic is great for lowering blood pressure but that it can thin the blood like aspirin, so before anyone tries that, they should do some research and see if it would be good for their personal situation.
